Made from fine Merino Wool
Our gossamer-thin merino scarves with the classic Chasme Bulbul (the (Eye of the Nightingale) pattern and Traditional fringed ends are produced on the edge of the Himalayan mountain range in the Kashmir Valley. Merino wool is among the finest natural fibers in the world, as it is temperature-regulating and pleasantly light against the skin.
Unobtrusively elegant, versatile and wearable all year round – an expression of natural lightness from the Himalayas.

Told by the Needle
Each of our unique Janvar Palla pieces requires weeks of careful and focused handwork and reflects the exceptional Kashmiri skill with thread and needle – a tradition passed down through generations but mastered by only a few.
Not only is each scarf unique, it is also a piece of artfully hand-embroidered cultural heritage – adorned with detailed embroidery and stories immortalized by the needle, waiting to be passed on.
